alt text: The Black, Race, and Ethnic Studies (GC/CUNY) Research Symposium was the culmination of the BRES Collaboration Hub fellowship for the 2025-2026 academic year. It was a day for our Faculty and Doctoral Fellows to share ideas and have community. To add that academic flair scholars all know and love - It was an opportunity to engage in an interdisciplinary setting where research could be inspired from other perspectives and methods. What ultimately took place was a reminder to maintain light in a heavy world.

It was great to meet so many of the fellows in person and hold engaging conversations throughout the day. So many bonds have been formed. I hope you all continue the collaboration beyond the fellowship!
